Phantom Parts

Steal children’s souls by possessing the scariest toy to become the most POWERFUL specter in the neighborhood! The only thing stopping you? Your wits, these children’s resilience, and a rival!

Phantom Parts is a 1v1 card game where players compete to claim the souls of 3 children first. As ghosts, players take turns drawing from a collective deck and building their own haunted toy with different body parts. Once both players finish building, they check if they both successfully scared the child. If only one of them succeeds, they win the round! If neither of them succeed, the child gets away and the next round of play begins. If they both succeed, they FACE EACH OTHER IN A BATTLE FOR GHOST DOMINANCE!

Phantom Parts was made in our Experimental Game Design class to the theme of “Innocence, and the loss of it.”
